UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, IT Software Engineer in Nashville, TN

We're looking for an Associate Director, IT Software Engineer to: • Software design and development of high performance backend services including but not limited to interfacing with data sources like big data as well as other systems in a synchronous or non-synchronous manner. • Deployment of software on cloud especially on Kubernetes cluster using Helm charts. • Collaborating with number of teams across the organization to implement the solution as well as investigate issues to support our users. • Serve as an Agile Developer to design, develop, create and modify applications refining stakeholder requirements through test driven development. • Responsible for implementing strategic risk initiatives of the firm utilizing technical experience with Java programming, databases and UNIX. • Work with agile development teams to improve older code bases as well as apply modern best practices to new projects. • Design new APIs, evolving existing systems, and perform API Analysis. • Design and implement system interfaces with external systems. • Utilize critical analytical skills to debug issues in production. • Designs applications for robust logging and tracing across services and data bases, as well as database table design.

Your expertise
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, Senior Developer, Developer, or a related occupation.
• Employer will alternately accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and three (3) years of related experience.
