As the manager of the Arity Data Products team, you will be lead the design, architecture, implementation, deployment, performance tuning and on-going support of some of Arity’s premier applications. You will be an innovative thinker, an expert communicator, and an agile problem solver looking to join an exciting team. You will utilize cutting edge technologies to deliver software solutions within Arity’s cloud environment. Success candidates can learn and adapt quickly and use every tool at your disposal—software, algorithms, and beyond—to understand and effectively tackle hard problems.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Lead and drive projects that span our stack, including batch and streaming big data technologies
⦁ Participate in product scoping, discovery and providing technical inputs to translate user features into system design.
⦁ Design and Architecture of next generation of data products utilizing AWS Managed Services
⦁ Ensure the technical feasibility design and optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
⦁ Be a strong contributor to the product vision and drive team planning.
⦁ Managing geographically disbursed team across multiple timezones
⦁ Build for scale and high performance.
⦁ Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Architects, Project Managers, Designers and other Engineers to develop full stack solutions for enterprise products,
⦁ Work in Agile/Scrum environment, design, estimate, test, and develop user stories
Education and Experience:
⦁ Expertise in big data technology like Spark/Scala and experience with other Big Data technology like Flink, Hadoop, NiFi, etc
⦁ Expertise in designing reliable, production grade big data pipelines as well as Architecting on AWS and AWS Managed Services
⦁ Experience leading a team of data engineers running enterprise grade production data pipelines\
⦁ A college degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or similar field, including a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
⦁ Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with enterprise grade production data pipelines.
⦁ Excellent listening and communication skills
⦁ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to offer why one technical solution is preferable than another
⦁ Ability to manage a team environment in a collaborative manner and remote teams

Compensation offered for this role is $119,700.00-$182,025.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
