Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to design and administer Apple Device Management systems (e.g. JAMF Pro and Addigy)
- Configuring Apple devices to operate in a Microsoft based Active Directory / Microsoft 365 environment
- Engineers and deploys endpoint patches and core component updates. Provides oversight and engineering endpoint images and application packages
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability using, configuring and diagnosing Apple based hardware, Operating Systems and Software (Mac, iPad, iPhone macOS, iPadOS, iPhoneOS)
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to package applications and configuration policies to be deployed in an enterprise environment via MDM solution (e.g JAMF Pro and Addigy)
- Experience with reporting technologies in configuration management systems (E.g. Jamf Pro and Addigy)
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
- Supports the organization as a subject matter expert for endpoint hardware, software and security as well as cross-department support for server, network and printing platforms
- Participate within the Agile Sprints to ensure quality execution of all Apple related changes that will affect the operations and support organization.
- Contribute to development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise Mac technologies
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
• Experience with implementation, configuration, support, road map, and design/planning of Apple / Mac / Jamf rollouts to an enterprise company
• Experience with administering JAMF, Apple Business Manager, Microsoft 365, and providing Mac and iOS end-user support
• Experience developing and maintaining scripts in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Powershell with a emphasis on automation
• Document all architecture and processes via the ServiceNow platform
• Experience with M365 productivity suite
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory
• Understanding of virtual desktop environments such as Citrix and AWS workspaces
• Provides Tier3 - level support
• Strong fundamental understanding of available migration strategies, paths, risks and issues with the relevant products
• Must be able to estimate and balance workloads, internal and external expectations, and work in high-pressure engagements with high-profile stakeholders
• Interested in growing by taking on challenging and rewarding projects or assignments
• Ability to learn new product updates and technologies
• Ability to communicate appropriately with client technical and executive staff
• Mentor others/junior staff on your core vendor products and technologies
