Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for an Angular Developer with five to ten years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The Angular Developer will be responsible for development of applications across the Digital and Marketing Technology domain, responsibilities include:

• Technical design, development for Angular Applications.

• Perform Unit and integration testing.

• Determine feasibility and scalability to solve business needs.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party systems as part of the overall architecture • Promote and codify platform/cloud architectural best practices.

• Model strong disciplinary skills through documenting solutions and techniques, ensuring information is available to the team through technical notes and internal knowledge base.

Key Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of experience working as an Angular developer and its ecosystem.

• JavaScript, Typescript, expert skills in Angular up to version 12.

• Experience designing, developing and maintaining Angular component libraries.

• Angular integration with RESTful services.

• Familiarity with concepts related to data flow and component driven architectures with practical experience based on Angular 2+.

• Experience using CSS grids and building responsive websites with scalability in mind • Fundamental knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DOM.

• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and their libraries.

• GIT experience submitting pull requests and reviewing/approving pull requests.

• Excellent understanding of browser rendering, and ability to fine-tune an experience.

• Knowledge of delivery of Large Scale Web Applications.

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.

• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.

• Proficiency in building NodeJS scripts.

• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.

• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.

• Professional written and interpersonal skills.
