About the Team

The Risk & Compliance function at OKCoin is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk. We’re also deeply committed to moving the needle on risk and compliance standards for the crypto industry, building products in a compliant way, and protecting the company from financial, regulatory and reputational risks. Our team consists of seasoned risk and compliance professionals who are based across our global offices.

About the Opportunity

This is a highly-impactful role at one of the fastest-growing global cryptocurrency exchanges headquartered in San Francisco, CA. The Analyst, LDS helps ensure quality standards are upheld through the Risk Investigations team.  The role will partner with stakeholders across Risk and Customer Service to identify quality trends, conduct root cause analysis, document results, and recommend enhancements.  

Key to success will be leveraging effective coaching and training practices to ensure that the investigations team successfully achieves KPIs and conforms to various regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Patriot Act, Nacha Compliance, and Visa/MasterCard program requirements.  

An ability to quickly define a problem, conduct analysis, and provide timely recommendations will be essential. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform daily audits on internal systems;
  • Provide analysis of errors and feedback to our Risk Investigations team.
  • Work with the Internal CS Training Team to align Policy understanding of QA and moderation teams;
  • Provide support on Policy/Quality related questions on ad-hoc basis;
  • Responsible for training new Investigators in order to quickly ramp up;  
  • Work closely with the Operational Excellence Team to provide feedback on quality;
  • Identify potential failures of Risk Policies and propose solutions; and
  • Conduct regular QA meetings with the team to analyze errors.

What We Look For In You:

  • Minimum 2-4 years working experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst;
  • CSR, Risk, and training related experience;
  • Experienced in working in BPO/call center/customer service environment;
  • Experienced with Case Management Tools, Fraud Risk, and BSA/AML Compliance matters;
  • Keen eye for details;  
  • Strong interpersonal skills; and 
  • Able to work independently.

Nice to Haves:

  • Crypto/Blockchain experience;  
  • AML/Fraud investigation experience in financial services, eCommerce, or Fintech; 
  • Fluency in a second language (Mandarin, Spanish, Korean, etc.); and
  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree.
