KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Scrum team and mentor less experienced Software Engineers
• Involved in all phases of software development with a focus on delivering software feature story-points.
• Customer interaction; providing value-added software features to our product
• Elaborating the requirement to prototype, design, coding, testing, deploying, and support
• Work within an agile development framework while collaborating with other developers on the team

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors Degree
• 3+ years experience working with Java, REST APIs/Microservices and Postgres SQL skills
• 3+ years experience Enterprise Software Development experience with a strong technical background of complex software product development

WE VALUE

• Experience in integration on cloud / Azure environment is preferred.
• Knowledge or experience in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Knowledge or experience working on big data applications or exposure to big data technologies such as, Apache Spark, Scala is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems with the ability to troubleshoot issues in complex, distributed, multi-tier architectures. Excellent debugging and problem solving capability.
• Learning/growth mentality and willingness to explore new technologies and problem spaces.
• Web application development experience using (React Js) stack
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Java, PHP, and .Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Strong hands-on ability to write unit test cases, secure and maintainable code
• Agile software development using industry leading toolset like JIRA, Bamboo, GIT, etc.
• Deep understanding of HTTP protocol and asynchronous processing
• Strong communication skills, ability to write technical docs and present ideas
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Team player, mentor and develop others by learning and sharing
• Deep customer empathy, customer-first mind set, ready to work with customer on early prototypes/MVOs
• Understanding various software development lifecycle
• Some relevant experience
