About the Role
The Application Functions Lead is responsible for the system functional bench test specification, test execution and test report for all assigned applications or features and projects based on system requirements. In this role, you are the first point of contact as a specialist for feature verification at bench level. If necessary, you will technically lead an international team of test engineers.
Your Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the achievement of Automotive SPICE SYS.5 outcomes.
  • Analyzing and verifying internal and external defects, collaborating with other disciplines and customers.
  • Ensuring a very high automation rate for test execution.
  • Defining test concepts by actively participating in and leading meetings with other disciplines.
  • Representing the company during customer visits as a specialist for feature verification.
  • Taking on the technical leadership of an international team when necessary.
  • Maintaining test benches.


Who we are looking for

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or a similar field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in testing ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) with HiLs (Hardware-in-the-Loop).
  • Knowledge in test automation with Automation Desk and CAPL.
  • Very good analytical skills and go-forward mentality.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English (C1) and advanced knowledge of German (B2) (spoken and written).
  • Valid driving license class B and willingness to travel frequently.


Your preferred qualifications

  • Programming knowledge in Python or similar.
  • Knowledge about automation within CI/CD toolchain.
  • Experience with reprocessing and SiL (Software-in-the-Loop).
  • Hands on with maintenance of HiLs, change hardware and re-wire equipment.
