We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Development Engineer to join our team and take ownership of testing and validating 1.6T Optical Modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical module testing, automation, and quality assurance, ensuring that our products meet high-performance and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate hardware performance using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers (BERT), vector network analyzers (VNA), and optical spectrum analyzers (OSA).

  • Conduct root-cause analysis and debugging of hardware issues during bring-up and testing phases.

  • Ensure hardware meets industry standards such as IEEE 802.3, OIF, and MSA specifications.

  • Work with suppliers to evaluate and qualify critical components including lasers, modulators, drivers, TIAs, and DSPs.

  • Support manufacturing, test development, and reliability validation for new product introduction (NPI).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Testing Engineer.

  • Hands-on experience with high-speed measurements and debugging.

  • Familiarity with optical communication components and modulation formats (e.g., NRZ, PAM4, QAM).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
