We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Product Engineer to drive product-engineering excellence and manufacturing execution for Cloud products. This role serves as the Product Engineer for assigned products and partners with Manufacturing, R&D, Process Engineering, Quality, and NPI teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable, scalable, and capable of meeting performance, quality, delivery, and cost objectives throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Product Engineering
- Own product definition, technical performance, and manufacturing execution for assigned Cloud products.
- Serve as the primary technical interface between Manufacturing and R&D for product-related matters.
- Lead product-level technical analysis, issue resolution, risk assessment, and change implementation.
- Maintain product performance and manufacturing readiness throughout the product lifecycle.
Product Industrialization & NPI
- Support product industrialization from development through volume production.
- Execute product-engineering activities for NPI, product transfer, qualification, and production ramp-up.
- Ensure the accuracy and readiness of BOMs, drawings, specifications, and product configurations.
- Support DfX activities, including Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Test, and Reliability.
- Coordinate product-documentation release and engineering-change management.
Yield, Quality & Cost Improvement
- Analyze and improve product yield, performance, quality, and reliability.
- Lead or support root-cause investigations and corrective actions for manufacturing and field issues.
- Drive cost-reduction opportunities through product optimization, material evaluation, and engineering changes.
- Use product and manufacturing data to identify technical risks and improvement opportunities.
Cross-functional & Global Collaboration
- Collaborate with local and global Manufacturing, R&D, Process Engineering, Quality, and NPI teams.
- Communicate technical status, risks, priorities, and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure successful product transfer and manufacturing execution.
Safety, Health & Environmental Responsibilities
- Comply with all EHS policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support EHS initiatives and continuous-improvement activities.
- Promote safe work practices and contribute to a Zero Accident culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 6–10 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related role in high-technology manufacturing.
- Strong experience supporting NPI, product transfer, volume ramp, and sustaining engineering.
- Solid understanding of product lifecycle management, configuration control, and manufacturing interfaces.
- Experience in optical, photonic, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of BOM management, engineering changes, product qualification, DfX, and structured problem-solving.
- Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective English communication and ability to work with local and global teams.

Working Conditions
