Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and technically inclined Software Test Engineer to join our Software Tools team, focusing on manual testing of our signal chain design platform, Precision Studio. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Electronics Engineering who can interpret analog signal visualizations and validate the tool’s output against expected behavior.
As a SW Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing manual test cases, analyzing graphical outputs, and ensuring the tool delivers accurate and meaningful results for engineers designing analog signal chains. Your insights will help ensure the reliability and usability of Precision Studio for our end users.

Responsibilities:
- Review product requirements and specifications to understand the intended signal chain behavior and visualization outputs.
- Develop and execute manual test plans and test cases tailored to signal chain workflows and analog output scenarios.
- Validate graphical outputs (e.g., waveforms, frequency responses) to ensure they align with expected analog behavior.
- Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing following bug fixes and feature updates.
- Provide feedback on usability and workflow efficiency from an engineer’s perspective.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in manual software testing, preferably for engineering or simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of analog signal processing, signal chain components, and visualization techniques.
- Ability to interpret and validate analog graphs such as time-domain waveforms, Bode plots, and frequency responses.
- Familiarity with software development and testing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience using or testing engineering tools such as SPICE simulators, signal chain design platforms, or visualization software.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for test automation or data analysis.
- Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
