Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Candidate must have work experience of Distribution Transformer & Power transformers mechanical designs & drawings
  • Candidate should have experience of drawings like Outline GA drawings & manufacturing drawings
  • Candidate must have hands-on experience in 3D solid modeling in Solid works / Autodesk Inventor / Solid edge / UG.NX /    Creo or any other 3D software. (Solid works / Solid edge will be added advantage)
  • Should have hands-on experience of AutoCAD 2D drawings, layout of Power Transformer in 2D
  • Should have knowledge of design and optimization of mechanical components for transformer. Components like Tank.
  • Candidate shall be able to understand the customer requirements from specifications and relative standards.
  • Should have knowledge of various types of International Standards related to Power Transformers, Shunt reactors & special      transformers.
  • Candidate shall be able prepare error free drawings with the help of checklists and relative documents.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
  • B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical
  • 5 to 10 years
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
  • Knowledge of basic computer software like Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Proficient in 2D CAD and 3D modelling in Solid works / Solid edge.
  • Preferred from manufacturing industry only.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience
  • Work experience designing distribution transformers and power transformers
  • Experience creating outline general arrangement drawings and manufacturing drawings
  • Hands-on experience with 3D solid modeling software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge, UG NX, or Creo
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2D drawings and power transformer layouts
  • Knowledge of mechanical component design and optimization, including transformer tanks
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements, specifications, and relevant international standards
  • Knowledge of international standards for power transformers, shunt reactors, and special transformers
  • Ability to prepare accurate, error-free drawings using checklists and supporting documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
