We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented R&D Software Engineer to design, develop, and support software solutions that power Clario’s products. In this role, you’ll contribute to our software architecture, deliver high-quality code, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable software. You’ll work within an Agile environment and help drive engineering excellence across the development lifecycle.
What You’ll Be DoingDesign, develop, code, test, debug, and implement software applications across multiple platforms using broadly defined specifications.
Contribute to architectural discussions and development planning in collaboration with team leads and managers.
Deliver multiple components or features within your technical specialization; may own portions of larger projects.
Participate in problem-solving with peers to address complex technical challenges.
Conduct code reviews to share knowledge, ensure quality, and promote best practices.
Collaborate with Software Quality Engineering to maximize test automation and integrate testing throughout the development cycle.
Support cross-functional teams by providing technical insights and application-level expertise.
Maintain documentation and adhere to internal SOPs and development standards.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical experience in software development.
Strong understanding of your technical specialization and common software engineering patterns.
Experience using Source Code Management tools (e.g., Git) and Work Item Tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with software engineering frameworks and development methodologies.
Basic knowledge of risk management techniques.
Experience with unit testing and related design patterns.
Knowledge of Agile development processes is a plus.
Experience with DevOps practices and cloud-based solutions is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
