R&D Software Engineer (On Site)

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented R&D Software Engineer to design, develop, and support software solutions that power Clario’s products. In this role, you’ll contribute to our software architecture, deliver high-quality code, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable software. You’ll work within an Agile environment and help drive engineering excellence across the development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, code, test, debug, and implement software applications across multiple platforms using broadly defined specifications.

• Contribute to architectural discussions and development planning in collaboration with team leads and managers.

• Deliver multiple components or features within your technical specialization; may own portions of larger projects.

• Participate in problem-solving with peers to address complex technical challenges.

• Conduct code reviews to share knowledge, ensure quality, and promote best practices.

• Collaborate with Software Quality Engineering to maximize test automation and integrate testing throughout the development cycle.

• Support cross-functional teams by providing technical insights and application-level expertise.

• Maintain documentation and adhere to internal SOPs and development standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 1+ years of hands-on technical experience in software development.

• Strong understanding of your technical specialization and common software engineering patterns.

• Experience using Source Code Management tools (e.g., Git) and Work Item Tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

• Familiarity with software engineering frameworks and development methodologies.

• Basic knowledge of risk management techniques.

• Experience with unit testing and related design patterns.

• Knowledge of Agile development processes is a plus.

• Experience with DevOps practices and cloud-based solutions is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
