About the Role
This role is responsible for Supplier Quality and Customer Quality management for acoustic and automotive electronic products (Speakers). It supports customers in North America and provides quality control and on-site support to manufacturing partners in Vietnam.
By improving customer response efficiency and driving effective issue closure, the role helps ensure product quality and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Independently manage supplier quality and customer quality activities for acoustic and automotive electronic products.
- Lead supplier on-site audits, process inspections, and layered audits to ensure compliance with HARMAN quality standards.
- Lead failure analysis for nonconforming products and customer quality issues, driving effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive and oversee PPAP / APQP activities to support quality delivery during engineering and mass production phases.
- Monitor incoming and finished product quality metrics (FPY / FTQ), identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead analysis and countermeasure development for warranty, claim, and market return issues (e.g., 8D / FA/ A3 ).
- Act as the quality interface, supporting quality communication and on-site activities with regional partners and customers.
What You Need to Be Successful
- 5 years of quality-related experience, with a background in consumer electronics or acoustics.
- Familiar with acoustic products such as speakers, microphones, and amplifiers.
- Hands-on experience with quality management systems and audit methodologies, including IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 Audit.
- Strong problem-solving and quality closure capabilities, able to independently lead issue resolution using tools such as 8D, A3, FA, and CAPA.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, capable of professional communication with global teams.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable working within a well-established and structured quality management system, with strong quality ownership.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience with OEM or customer-specific quality systems such as Ford MSA / Q1 and GM BIQS.
- Combined experience in both SQE and CQE roles.
- Experience supporting Tier 1 customers, cross-regional projects, or overseas customers.
- Demonstrates long-term commitment to a career in quality and a stable professional background.
