ADI’s Corporate Quality Management Systems and Enterprise Excellence organization is seeking a motivated, experienced Systems and Software Engineer to support our organization located at ADI’s Wilmington, MA, Corporate Headquarters. The candidate will lead the development of business automation processes supporting quality operations, continuous improvement, and visual management.
The Quality Management Systems and Enterprise Excellence organization focuses on developing systems to support ADI’s technology solutions and innovation.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Lead on-demand business systems applications supporting customer issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop workflow automation in Atlassian and advanced MS tools to facilitate problem-solving practice, deployment of systemic improvements, and data visualization. This can include automation of audit processes, problem-solving process guide development, coding MS-Excel macros, development of easily-to-use MS power-automate-workflows, Atlassian Jira and Confluence projects workflows, .NET workflows, PHP programs, and UI dashboards.
- Support new process improvements and products development flows.
- Examine and address process workflow developments.
- Lead/work with functional teams to streamline processes to improve the customer experience, enable profitable growth, and become more efficient.
- Lead organizational systemic improvements expanding across functional groups.
- Develop Power BI Applications and Dashboards
- Develop Quality Management Applications using platforms such as .NET and PHP
Required Skills:
- BS in Computer Science or Information Systems Engineering, MS preferred
- Project management facilitation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with a positive influence leadership at different levels of the organization.
- Expertise in problem-solving utilizing a formal methodology/process such as Lean Six Sigma tools and Agile Management
- Eager to support the implementation and deployment of business processes automation tools.
- Six Sigma Body of Knowledge experience (ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt, Six-Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification, desirable)
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience conducting data analytics and developing Power BI applications and dashboards.
- Development of Power Automate Workflows.
Minimum qualifications
- Experience leading business processes improvement projects
- Project management team facilitation skills
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) and Microsoft Power Apps (Power Automate, MS-Teams, Power BI)
- Proficiency in JQL coding
- Web programming skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python
