- Will assist Quality Engineers with day to day containment of factory quality issues and corrective actions with component suppliers including but not limited to notifying suppliers of non-conformances and processing quality notifications
- Will assist with communicating with suppliers to implement the SAP Reject Notification process
- Will assist with coordinating rework completed by SCSI including payments to SCSI and debiting suppliers for cost of the rework
- Will assist with updating and reporting quality metrics
- Will assist with tracking, preparing, and reviewing PPAP documentation for manufactured parts and incoming inspection of purchased parts
- Will assist in tracking and coordinating movements of parts to Gear Lab and Met Lab
- Will assist with auditing blocked stock inventory
- Will assist with developing rework instructions
- Will assist with setting up SAP Quality Management Views and Inspection Plans by Part Number and Vendor Number
- Will assist with developing inspection plans for families of parts i.e. bearings, gears, housings
- Will assist with gage studies for 5M and 5R
- Manager looking for candidates with 4 year Engineering degree
- SAP experience is a plus
