The Platform and Systems Team (PST) seeking a motivated, experienced Python Engineer to provide support to the Analog Garage located at ADI’s Boston Downtown location. The Analog Garage is Analog Device’s advanced research development group. The PST team builds actionable systems to demonstrate the research from our Deep Tech and Algorithmic groups. As a Python engineer, you will be working with about 7 to 10 other engineers to build data processing pipelines.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Be a key contributor to realizing Analog Garage’s vision of an Edge to Cloud eco system.
- Build the tools and components that our scientists need to discover exciting new technologies and their practical application.
- Work with engineers from different business units within Analog Devices to create or improve products.
- Design and develop data processing components that are re-used in a variety of research projects.
- Design and develop applications and tools to deploy and manage the data processing clusters in a public cloud.
Minimum qualifications:
- A MS in Computer Science
- Demonstrated experience with Python and scientific computing, mastering NumPy and Pandas
- Demonstrated customer and solution-oriented mindset.
- Be an excellent team player and communicator.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building Python packages.
- Familiar with the Robot Operating System (ROS)
- Familiar with tools and packages like Conda, Setuptools, Pydantic, FastAPI etc
- Hands-on experience with one major cloud provider like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
