ADI Egypt is hiring Product Engineer. The Engineer will work with Product Engineering team undertaking performance measurements and silicon characterization of ADI designs. He/she will be responsible for the development of both hardware and software used with the evaluation platform, then utilize this platform with performing full product characterization. He/she will take ownership of all phases of new product development, taking silicon, eval board and software from early development stage to full production release (debug, evaluation, characterization, qualification, final test and support). The role also includes working closely with product test engineering and applications teams on product support and customer support issues.
The candidate should be familiar with testing and measurement equipment usage (RF/Digital/Power). Strong understanding of RF measurements including S-Parameters, IP3, P1dB, NF..etc is required. He/she must be able to format, analyze, and reach valid conclusions from measurement data.
Qualifications:
- MSc/BSc Degree in Electrical / Electronic and Communications Engineering or equivalent. (0-4 Years experience)
- Familiarity with performing circuit evaluation and characterization using bench test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meter, multimeter..etc.
- Working knowledge of a programing/scripting language such as Python or Matlab
- Experience with system/board design, assembly, debug and evaluation skills.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Be highly motivated, team player, fluent in English, very good oral and written communications skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope.
- Familiarity with IC probing.
- Exposure to FPGA tools.
- Simple PCB soldering and rework experience
