POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing as well as the upkeep of the building and grounds including multiple off campus clinical sites.
Ability to make decisions in emergency situations and alternative solutions in day-to-day responsibilities in a team manner.
QualificationsMINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent knowledge in necessary fields.
License: Not required.
Experience: Two (2) year experience in maintenance related field or experience in fields needed.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to think and work effectively with frequent interruptions; to move, sit, stand, walk and bend intermittently throughout the work day, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must possess sight and hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these sources to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Use of mechanical and technical equipment required for the responsibilities assigned.
- External and internal applicants who become disabled, must be able to perform the essential job functions either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined on a case by case basis.
- Position has a moderate expected exposure to blood borne pathogens.
Skills Required
