Job Summary

  • This person will be responsible to assist reporting manager developing and implementing a culture of continuously improving manufacturing, utilizing lean and automation concepts across the vendor base in order to deliver quantifiable improvements in process, quality and safety, and financial benefits.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead & execute actions that will result in goals and KPIs being achieved and on time under reporting manager's instruction


  • Work with vendor responsible to develop, prioritize and implement plans for continuous improvement initiatives


  • Facilitates and participates in cross-functional teams with vendors to identify process changes that will improve ability to maximize automation capabilities


  • Improve productivity and speed to market in all strategic vendors, without comprising safety and quality standards.


  • Particpates lean audit activities and follow-up with every stakeholder for audit improvement


  • Prepare & carry out continuous improvement training for factory employees in support of improvement initiatives


  • Quantify the results and benefit of continuous improvement


  • Ad hoc project from reporting manager

  • Reduce leadtime/speed to market


  • Improve levels of automation capabilities


Qualifications/Experience

  • 2 years experience in Continuous Manufacturing deployment and transformation


  • Experienced/demonstrated ability to solve problems systematically utilizing scientific methodologies and process focus.


  • Capability to plan and drive change in a fast paced and ever changing environment, influence skills essential


  • Ability to communicate effectively to direct and motivate responsible team and others


  • Experienced in Asian Manufacturing of high volume - fast changing consumer products


Job Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Value Stream Management, etc.)


  • Analytical with strong statistics background


  • High proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English


Education

  • Degree holder in relevant curriculum preferred
