The Engineer, IT&IS Systems is responsible for Responsible for IT/IS systems, infrastructure, security, compliance, and continuous improvement to support manufacturing and business operations.

This position reports to the Manager, IT/IS and is part of the IT/IS Department located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

·       Manage and support IT infrastructure, servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud services.

·       Maintain business applications, ERP, Microsoft 365, and manufacturing/production systems.

·       Support system validation, security, compliance, documentation, and system availability.

·       Coordinate with vendors, global IT teams, stakeholders, and end users to resolve technical issues.

·       Support IT projects, system upgrades, migrations, integrations, digital transformation, and after-hours troubleshooting when required.

The essential requirements of the job include:

·       3–5 years of experience in IT Systems Engineering or a related role, with hands-on systems integration experience.

·       Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and system issues.

·       Excellent organizational, communication, and task management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

·       Adaptable team player with strong cross-functional collaboration and a positive, results-oriented attitude.

·       Customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering quality IT services.

Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Office-based role requiring frequent sitting, standing, walking, extended standing, and daily computer/device use.

• Requires local and international travel, with a valid driver’s license and ability to perform essential duties for extended periods.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Proficient in Windows 11 and knowledgeable in system architecture.

• Experienced with various systems, applications, and hardware.

• Familiar with healthcare and medical device manufacturing environments.

Bonus / Incentive Pay 

Up to 10% of annual base salary  

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.  This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions. 

This job is also eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits and specifically phone allowance, medical card, dental allowance and optical allowance.  Details regarding these benefits will be provided separately.
