  • Assisting in the development of an extrahepatic LNP delivery vehicle to support delivery of editing payloads in vivo.
  • Assisting with experimental design and execution of formulation discovery and platform development activities.
  • Performing characterization of LNPs to determine size, polydispersity, concentration and encapsulation using established techniques.
  • Performing characterization of LNPs to determine RNA and protein content.
  • Executing experimental plans and interpreting the results with guidance from senior scientists.
  • Troubleshooting lab workflows and maintaining lab equipment.
  • Providing high quality results and maintaining high quality documentation in lab notebooks.
  • Collaborating effectively with process development, analytical development, biology, and pharmacology teams.

Mike has a background in chemical and bio engineering. Previously with Tidal Therapeutics and Sanofi, Mike has 5 years of industry experience in developing lipid nanoparticle solutions for the delivery of nucleic acids to extrahepatic cells in vivo. In his free time, Mike enjoys golfing and skiing to stay active.
