Ensure the introduction of new products and processes; identify and execute cost-reduction projects by implementing improvements in the manufacturing of production-line products, such as reducing scrap, waste, or increasing PPH; reducing process variability; and implementing POKAYOKE devices. Implement process standards based on Core Tools to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.


Increase the department’s responsiveness, reduce problem resolution times, strengthen process control, and accelerate the implementation of improvements, thereby directly contributing to the achievement of operational and organizational objectives.

 

Role Responsibilities:


  • Process Documentation (Standardization): Develop and prepare documentation for the various requirements within the stages of the manufacturing process.

  • Setup: Assist with pilot runs/PPAP and ensure the first production run.

  • Process Measurement and Analysis: Collect information to define strategies and prioritize improvement projects.

  • Formulating Recipes: Develop recipes for various products and processes (based on APD, CQP, and Kaizen), focusing on resource optimization and managing individual Gantt charts to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.

  • Training: Train (new hires or retraining) operations personnel on critical processes; track the number of training sessions and/or certified personnel.

  • Safety, Quality, and Environment: Support various initiatives and uphold the environmental, safety, and quality policies established by the organization; participate in environmental management system audits.

  • Production Support: Resolve technical process issues.

  • Cost Reduction: Plan and execute cost-reduction projects.

  • Tooling Development: Design or validate tooling, fixtures, and assembly devices.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, chemical, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or automation engineering. Intermediate English skills preferred.

  • 4–5 years of experience in similar positions

  • Knowledge of stations and machines used in the urethane dispensing process.

 

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Interpretation of drawings, geometric tolerances, and visual aids.

  • Interpretation of drawings, proficiency with Easy Label software, and knowledge of process stations (machines) to provide support for setup, time-and-motion studies, and other tasks as needed.

  • Ability to read and write in English to interpret standards and requirements, adjust process recipes, knowledge of the APD and CQP processes, and knowledge and interpretation of process methodologies (core tools).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, understanding and management of work orders.

  • Execution of CAPEX projects, compliance with cost-reduction project budgets.
