Engineer II - Test

Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a Test Engineer Level II on the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) operations test and manufacturing team. This position will support multiple factories in Nashua, NH including the Area 5 factory after necessary clearances have been obtained.
This is a first shift position offering a flexible work schedule selecting from one of the following:
4/10 schedule Monday-Thursday! OR work a 9/80 with every other Friday off! OR a regular 5/40 work week.
This position will include the following duties:

1. Support manufacturing with all aspects of the test processes of Electronic warfare hardware and their lower-level assemblies.
2. Provide test failure debug, resolution, and appropriate direction to operations personnel to perform necessary rework.
3. Generate rework direction in the Paperless Manufacturing Execution System (MES) based on debug findings.
4. Interface with Engineering and other supporting groups to drive defect resolution to root cause.
5. Support test equipment maintenance, including Test Solutions and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) equipment.
6. Assist in the generation and implementation of improvements in test design, processes, and methodologies to reduce cost and increase throughput.
7. Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation associated with the design and build of digital and RF electronic warfare products.
8. Support test equipment validation and movement as required to support factory needs.
9. Provide training / support to manufacturing personnel.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, technical field that is similar OR
• A minimum of 2 or more years of related work experience that includes experience in a test engineering capacity.
• Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing and test engineering if non-degreed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Well versed with computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of RF and digital instrumentations (i.e. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and signal sources).

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Lean/Six Sigma experience such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Experience with Paperless manufacturing execution system.
• Experience with RF and digital test equipment (i.e. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal sources, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.)
• Experience and knowledge of circuit cards and components and basic electrical systems. Experience with debugging or troubleshooting both CCA and system hardware.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921
