Brief Job Description: -
Sr. Electronics Hardware Engineer:
- A Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer leads the end-to-end development of electronic systems.
- They manage circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype testing. Acting as a technical lead, they guide junior engineers and ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturing standards from concept to mass production.
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:

- System Design & Architecture: Lead system-level architecture, determining hardware specifications, component selection, and defining technical roadmaps.
- Circuit & PCB Design: Perform digital and analog circuit design, schematic capture, and oversee multi-layer PCB layout. Conduct signal integrity and power integrity analyses.
- Prototyping & Bring-up: Lead prototype bring-up, debugging, system integration, and fault troubleshooting down to the component level.
- Testing & Validation: Develop test methodologies to conduct Design Verification Testing (DVT) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., EMC, EMI, and Safety certifications).
- Manufacturing Transition: Collaborate with production teams to implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT) principles.
- Mentorship: Provide technical coaching, design guidance, and peer reviews to junior hardware engineers.
- Simulation: Ansys EMI/EMC solution, LT spice, TINA required to know. MATLB & Ansys will be additional.
- Hardware Knowledge: Deep understanding of microcontrollers, processors, FPGAs, power electronics, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet).
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills for debugging, failure analysis, and design optimization
Qualifications:
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 8+ years’ experience in directly related to mission critical facilities of which at least 3 in data center and telecom
- English language min. B1 level
- Advanced computer skills
- Manages multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities, organizes and coordinates work with others
- Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas
- Is persuasive, demonstrates diplomacy and tact
- Demonstrates professionalism (e.g., cooperation, courtesy, assertiveness, and non-defensiveness, accepting constructive criticism, and maintaining confidences)
- Demonstrates good customer relation skills by providing prompt personalized service
- Effectively handles stressful situations (resolving conflicts and meeting deadlines)
- Experience managing an engineering team preferred

Skills Required

- Experience with PCB layout, schematic capture, signal integrity and power integrity analysis
- Experience with prototype bring-up, debugging, failure analysis, and system integration
- Experience developing test methodologies and performing Design Verification Testing (DVT) and EMC/EMI compliance
- Experience implementing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) for manufacturing transition
- At least 8+ years' experience in related work, with at least 3 years in data center and telecom
- English language proficiency minimum B1 level
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks, plan and coordinate work with others
- Effective communication of technical information and complex ideas
- Experience managing an engineering team
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40-50%
