RK&K is currently hiring a Drainage Engineer for our team in Tampa, FL. As a Drainage Engineer with RK&K, your responsibilities will include design and analysis of drainage facilities. Projects will include, but not be limited to new roadways, widenings, resurfacings, and multimodal improvements.
Essential Functions
- Basin delineations and runoff calculations
- H&H modeling support, GIS analysis
- Prepare drainage maps, storm drain layouts, cross sections, and detail sheets
- Calculate quantities and prepare construction cost estimates
- Support preparation of design documentation
- Support preparation of spread calculations, ditch calculations, storm tabulations, etc.
- H&H modeling support, GIS analysis
- Work with other disciplines on creative solutions to design challenges
Required Skills & Experience
- Zero (0) to Two (2) years of experience in drainage design
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field
- Engineering Intern (E.I.) license in FL or ability to obtain within six (6) months
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Open Roads Designer
- ArcPro
