Northrop Grumman is seeking cleared Embedded Software Engineers in Beavercreek, Ohio. This role contributes to the development of embedded and real-time software solutions for mission-critical applications, with responsibilities across software design, development, integration, and test. The position works closely with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test in a collaborative Agile environment.

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Level (level 2):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM discipline with 2 years of experience; Master’s degree with 0 years of experience
- Experience in C/C++ and/or Rust
- Experience developing and debugging embedded real-time systems
- US Citizenship is required
- An active US Government Secret clearance
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Beavercreek, Ohio
Basic Qualifications for Principal Engineer Level (level 3):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM discipline with 5 years of experience; Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; or PhD with 0 years of experience
- Experience in C/C++ and/or Rust
- Experience developing and debugging embedded real-time systems
- US Citizenship is required
- An active US Government Secret clearance
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Beavercreek, Ohio
Preferred Qualifications for both Levels:
- Experience developing software in Rust
- Experience with Xilinx-based platforms and tools
- Experience using Agile software development processes and tools such as Jira
- Experience using DevSecOps tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, or Nexus
- Familiarity with Linux kernel driver development and modification
