About the Role
As a Simulation Engineer, you will drive the global development and standardization of process simulation practices, ensuring alignment with worldwide guidelines and cross-functional initiatives. You will lead and support simulation-related activities—including PlantSim development, Digital Twin and Digital Commissioning synergy projects, and manufacturing process simulations—to enable optimized production concepts and data-driven decision-making. By collaborating with global teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders, you will enhance simulation standards, streamline material flow and area connection designs, and contribute to selecting the most cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
What You Will Do
- Global Owner for the Development and Standardization of Process Simulation Tasks
- Participates in global process standard development initiatives
- Contributes to Harman/Samsung synergy projects for Simulation and Digital Twin sub-projects
- Drives PlantSim development activities with external suppliers and internal teams
- Supports Harman Digital Commissioning development efforts
- Creates manufacturing process simulations to support production concept development for new products and RFI/RFQ processes
- Supports decision-makers by performing simulations to select the most cost-effective manufacturing concept and optimize machine quantities
- Participates in global teams to develop and maintain global simulation guidelines
- Develops and maintains simulation guidelines
- Performs area connection development
- Conducts material handling simulations
What You Need to Be Successful
- Electrical Engineering/Mechatronic/Mechanical/Information Technology Engineer or other relevant Graduation
- Minimum 5 years of experience for automation development
- Minimum 5 years of experience of Process Simulation development
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication in English
Bonus Points if You Have
- Good knowledge of FlexSim
- Proficient knowledge of PlantSimulation
- Good knowledge of Technomatix
- Familiarity with TeamCenter usage
