About the Role
Global AME Automation Engineer.
What You Will Do
- Participate actively in the preparation of new projects, including lessons learned, best practices, standards, customer and local events, Team1, DGFM, and PFMEA.
- Leads the development of global standards in their field (BMS, Confluence) and provides support to related areas, making decisions on professional matters affecting their expertise, with special emphasis on the integration of automation equipment and technologies sourced from Chinese manufacturers.
- Design, implement, support, and hand over new automation processes development (Area connection, IIoT, Controll Tower) to the operational team.
- Lead the introduction, integration, and standardization of automation equipment and technologies sourced (Robot, cobot, AMR, IIoT tools) from Chinese manufacturers within the company’s production processes.
- Develop and deploy Harman Programming standard to evaluated tools.
- Identifying, evaluating, and introducing new Chinese brand manufacturing for automation technology.
- Find and evaluate new Chinese automation suppliers – evaluate, audit, and provide improvement recommendations for Chinese supplier.
- Designs, executes, develops, and hands over new automated processes to regional and plant engineering teams, prioritizing the deployment of Chinese automation technologies.
- Maintain close collaboration and technical alignment with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers.
- Provides professional support to other related areas worldwide and mentors and trains engineering colleagues globally, including training on Chinese equipment.
- Participation in the global process standard development.
- Prepare documentation and training materials related to Chinese technologies; deliver training to colleagues and operators.
- Development of Harman programming standards with Chinese brand PLC (ex. Siemens).
- Build the maintainable for the developed standards documentation (Software, process and other).
- Development and maintenance of Software version control processes.
- Provide technical support for Connectivity projects, ensuring seamless integration and operation of connected systems within the manufacturing environment.
- Integrate newly evaluated equipment into the Harman system, overseeing the implementation process and ensuring compliance with company standards and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS16949 requirements.
- Enforce occupational health and safety, fire, ESD, order, and cleanliness regulations.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Strong support for Connectivity activity (OPC/UA, MQTT etc.).
- Take part for the Digital Factory UseCase experimenting.
- Supporting the development of Scape programs, writing and teaching Scape programs, including those for Chinese equipment.
- Designing and preparing technical documentation to support production, including documentation for Chinese technologies.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Electrical Engineering/Mechatronic/Information Technology Engineer or other relevant Software developer Graduation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience for automation development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience setting up Industrial machine building and programming.
- Minimum 5 years of experience for maintenance support for industrial company.
- Proficient knowledge of robot programming and at least 3 years of robot programming experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Scape programming and at least 10 years of experience in Scape or C# programming, including experience with Chinese automation equipment.
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication in English.
- Experience with Chinese automation equipment, machines, PLCs, or previous implementation projects.
- Experience in international projects, especially with Asian (Chinese) partners.
- Experience with GIT version control systems.
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Good knowledge of AMR.
- Good knowledge of IIoT technology.
