<b>Detailed Description</b><p>The Associate Network Technician will perform the installation of network hardware infrastructure in educational and professional environments.</p><b>Roles and Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Implementation of new hardware and software in moderate-to-complex client network environments with guidance, review, and QA from Senior Lead Consultants</li><li>Be a team player with the ability to work with peers implementing Collaboration solutions for enterprise-sized clients</li><li>Provide Tier 1 support for network and Collaboration infrastructures</li><li>Demonstrate continued growth and independence when working with clients</li><li>Support network standards, processes, and security at client sites</li><li>Maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with clients; work jointly through technicians or leadership.</li><li>Communicate issues with lead/supervisor</li><li>Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean work environment</li><li>Communicate with superiors, coworkers, and customers in an effective and respectful manner.</li><li>Install network switches and UPSs in-floor racks and access points (APs) on walls and ceilings.</li><li>Patch cables into switches and APs in an orderly, aesthetically pleasing fashion.</li><li>Ability to interconnect fiber jumper “patch” cables.</li><li>Set up voice over IP (VoIP) phones; connect to the network, and test functions.</li><li>Participate in the delivery of project supplies.</li><li>Ability to receive instruction and perform tasks in a timely manner.</li><li>Basic knowledge of hand tools and how to safely use them.</li><li>Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.</li><li>Skills to create and deliver presentations</li><li>Ability to operate company vehicles and maintain a valid driver’s license.</li><li>Ability to climb and work on ladders that range up to 35+ feet.</li><li>Ability to learn and operate and work on man lift at heights up to 50+ feet</li><li>Must have exposure to technology-related activities, as they relate to network environments.</li><li>Experience in cabling infrastructure installation is very helpful.</li><li>CCNA, CCENT are a plus but not required</li><li>High school diploma, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree.</li><li>Range is $14-15/hour</li></ul><b>Additional Duties</b><b>Skills and Experience</b><b>Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Educational Requirements</b>
