Duties and Responsibilities
- Validates contract language against master agreements and market standards.
- Coordinates with traders and risk analysts to confirm transaction details in ETRM platforms.
- Updates contract lifecycle events in systems such as SAP or Allegro.
- Identifies and resolves discrepancies in confirmations and settlement instructions.
- Prepares daily and weekly reports on contract status using BI tools.
- Supports negotiation of minor amendments under guidance from senior staff.
- Ensures compliance with ISO/RTO market rules and internal governance policies.
- Provides clear explanations of moderately complex contract provisions to stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Required: Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
- Required: Ability to analyze contract terms to support pricing, settlements, or accounting.
- Required: Ability to interpret confirmations, amendments, and standard clauses.
- Required: Ability to work independently on routine contract administration matters.
- Required: Knowledge of energy trading contracts for physical and financial products.
