Honeywell Buildings Automation (BA) is a leader in building automation, fire, security, energy management, sustainability, and software. We help them select and define use cases that will achieve those outcomes. From there we design, install, commission, and service those use cases.
The Sales Leader role will cover Europe with a particular focus on the DACH region, UK & Italy and will lead a team of sales professionals to deliver on AOP expectations
The Distributed Energy Resources sales leader role is responsible for generating and securing new sales pipeline through the implementation of the energy and sustainability value proposition in partnership with Vertical markets leaders, for both opex and capex customer opportunities including the respective ROI where applicable.
Responsibilities- Drive pipeline and orders growth
- Meet or exceed the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Define and execute Sales Strategy to achieve AOP
- Provide accurate weekly forecast for orders within the implemented CRM
- Coach and mentor sales personnel in establishing professional relationships with appropriate levels of client decision makers.
- Create a robust pipeline of major pursuits including the execution of the pursuit plans
- Define key pursuits and accounts within the assigned scope
- Assess team’s sales activities and forecasts to determine sales progress and required improvements
- Recommend and implement improvements to achieve sales goals
- BA/BSc degree in business or a technical related field of study
- Proven background in sales leadership/management
- Significant quota carrying sales experience
- Strong knowledge of the turnkey distributed generation/renewables construction market and value proposition
- Led a sales team generating 50M+ in revenue
- C-Level selling skills
- Startup knowledge

- Experience with Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC) and Energy as a Server (EaaS) procurement methods
- Financial acumen related to energy generation, conservation and distribution
- Strong knowledge of energy ecosystem. Includes utilities, governmental entities, general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and architects.
- Ability to coach and mentor team to have a winning sales strategy for their accounts and opportunities
- Outcome based selling skills
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed Annual Operating Plan

- Coaching/mentoring skills for sales professions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required
- Ability to travel within Europe at least 70% of the time
