Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission-critical industry, is searching for an Energy Marshal for our site in Aiken, SC. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for all energy sources on site
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams to ensure proper de-energization and grounding
- Conduct pre-work safety reviews and energy hazard assessments for construction and commissioning tasks
- Serve as the single point of control for re-energization of systems after work is completed and verified
- Maintain accurate records of all energy isolations, permits, and clearances
What you will bring!
- Education – (i.e.BS in Engineering)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center construction, industrial commissioning, or high-voltage electrical environments
- Familiarity with data center power systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and mechanical systems
- NFPA 70E Electrical Safety certification (highly preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line drawings and P&IDs
