About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Energy Components (EC) Consultant to join our support and enhancement team for a key client in the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves providing application support, change management, enhancements and maintenance in accordance with limited shift schedules to ensure continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 support for the Energy Components application, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional issues related to EC modules.
• Implement enhancements, change requests, and configuration updates as required by the business.
• Collaborate with business users and other IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Monitor system performance and perform routine health checks and maintenance.
• Document changes, enhancements, and support activities following standard procedures.
• Participate in shift rotations, including possible weekend and on-call support.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology or Petroleum Technology or similar
• Experience in business process modelling and requirement analysis
• Technical competences in database modelling and programming PL/SQL
• Experienced in programming and/or system integration
• Experienced with cloud solutions, containers and RESTful integrations
• Excellent communication skills, and fluent in English, both written and verbal
