Position Overview:
The Endovascular Sales Specialist will implement all sales & marketing plans for assigned products to generate revenue to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and unit goals while maintaining and growing average sale prices in territory.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve regional sales & goals across all assigned Nexus products.
- Generate new business by calling on Cardiac and Vascular Surgeons
- Provide clinical support for Nexus endovascular procedures.
- Educate, train, and provide necessary tools for optimum patient outcomes.
- Provide regular in-services to OR personnel to communicate the safe & effective use and benefits of Nexus/endovascular products.
- Actively engage target customers to attend Medical Education programs and Artivion sales & marketing programs.
- Master tools necessary to perform daily duties. (File share software, Endosize, Knack…)
- Attend medical meetings and Artivion training meetings as requested by management.
- Provide value in attendance at sales meetings, regional meetings and tradeshows.
- Ensure full compliance to Field Assurance policies in your region.
- Communicate territory needs, trends, and problems to Director.
- Provide regular feedback to Sales and Marketing leadership.
- Conduct quarterly region meetings with Endovascular Specialists working with Marketing to deliver the Marketing Messages of the Quarter.
- Learn and understand to differentiate Nexus and other applicable Artivion products using clinical data, our training resources, and medical education.
- Attend medical meetings as requested by management.
- Work closely with National Accounts and Leadership to establish pricing agreements for Nexus products.
- Work closely with Leadership to make sure corporate goals are achieved.
- Work closely with Region Managers and Cardiovascular Specialists to partner in driving adoption and utilization of Nexus and other Aortic Artivion products such as AMDS and On-X.
- Educate yourself on all Artivion products and help educate the Region Managers and Cardiovascular Specialists on Nexus.
- Achieve sales goals while managing expense budgets.
- Comply with all corporate policies & standards of conduct.
- Maintain all administrative functions in accordance with corporate directives and timelines.
- You are expected to be working during the last week of any quarter and be available by phone, e-mail or text at all times during these critical weeks.
- Differentiate Nexus in the Aortic space.
- Proactively developing proposed solutions to challenges and presenting these proposed solutions to Leadership
- Master sales reporting systems to effectively manage the business.
Qualifications:
- BA or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in the complex Endovascular Aortic space required
- Documented track record of strong, consistent sales performance
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point Skills required
- Excellent communication, listening, organizational, administrative and time management skills required.
- This position will require frequent travel and overnight stays to effectively do the job.
