ABOUT US: To strengthen our experienced teams, we are looking for End User Support Engineer that will join our office in Gera /Leipzig. You will be a part of local and international IT support team in the Sportradar.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Being the 2nd level of tech support.
- Installation and maintenance of hardware & software.
- Responding in a timely manner to Local IT Support issues and requests.
- Full ownership of local IT Support, including supervision of other local IT Support team members.
- Local IT procurement and work with global standards.
- Setting up accounts for new users.
- Keep a technical documentation of specific Local IT processes.
- Maintenance of local IT asset inventory.
- Collaboration with our global IT teams.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience leading teams or sub teams desired.
- Knowledge of popular platforms & software applications (Microsoft, such as Azure, 365 Exchange, Office 365).
- Comfortable working with clients and assisting through company helpdesk software.
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
- Understanding Windows OS /MacOS/ Linux client OS platforms.
- Microsoft Cloud solutions.
- ITIL Processes (Desired).
- Knowledge in cloud infrastructure desired.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Positive, team player with a can-do attitude.
- Travel availability between 10 and 20% desired.
