We are looking for an End Point Engineer IV with a focus in Virtualization. Specifically, we are a Citrix Cloud based shop looking to leverage these platforms to scale and grow our company significantly over the next few years. This is a senior role and team focus on designing, implementing, and managing endpoint devices and related infrastructure within a Citrix environment. This role often involves Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) using Citrix Endpoint Management, as well as supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Implementation:
Creating and deploying operating system images, configuring endpoint devices (like desktops and laptops), and setting up application deployments.
• Management and Support:
Managing endpoint configurations, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support for both physical and virtual environments.
• Citrix Expertise:
Utilizing Citrix technologies like Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp and XenDesktop), Citrix Endpoint Management, and NetScaler Gateway for secure access and management.
• Security Focus:
Ensuring endpoint security through policy enforcement, application control, and adherence to security best practices.
• Integration:
Integrating Citrix solutions with other platforms like Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
• Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing and resolving issues related to Citrix environments, including application, network, and storage problems.
• Automation:
Developing scripts and automation solutions to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
Skills and Technologies:
• Operating Systems: Windows (10/11), macOS, and Linux. Potential to add more with successful pilots (Google Chrome)
• Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix VDI.
• Endpoint Management Tools: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Intune, SCCM, and Citrix Endpoint Management.
• Scripting and Automation: PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Networking: Understanding networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Active Directory: Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Software Packaging and Deployment: Experience with tools like Flexera AdminStudio, PSAppDeployToolkit, and MSI packaging.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with Citrix Cloud and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is required, Mac Stadium or other solutions is a plus.
• Merger & Acqusition: Candidate would benefit from experience doing work related to on-boarding new resources in an M&A Environment
Years of Experience: 5 years minimum
