We’re rapidly expanding and in need of new staff who are eager to grow with the company. Candidates can be experienced or IABA will provide training for highly motivated non-experienced staff! - Provide meaningful direct services to help individuals with developmental disabilities reach their goals!
- Support clients with autism and intellectual disabilities in workplaces, schools, and the community
- Facilitate meaningful community connections through activities and volunteer opportunities
- Teach independent living skills and promote adaptive behaviors
- Provide transportation and assist with public transit training

Requirements
- Possess a minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Reliable vehicle, valid CA driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record
- Provide transportation and assist with mobility training
- CPR/First Aid prior to start date
- Negative TB test
- Complete ACRE training within first year of employment
- Personal care assistance (restroom assistance/changing diaper, wheelchair assistance, comfortable with ADLs)
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, and lift 25 lbs.
- Physically assist, guide, and facilitate movement of clients that need assistance (e.g., transfer in/out of wheelchair) and other mobility issues specific to client, and stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Successfully pass a Live Scan DOJ/FBI background check
- Prior training in ABA or direct service is a plus!
Important Details!
- Monday-Friday Schedule
- Schedule: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM/ 9 AM - 3 PM
- Preferred availability: 7-4
- 30+ hours/week (Full-time)
- Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Important information
- This role involves unsupervised, direct support of children and/or adults in home, school, and community settings. Duties include implementing behavior plans, managing behavioral escalations, assisting with daily living needs, entering private residences, and accessing confidential health and personal information. Employment is contingent upon meeting applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include verification of education, employment history, credentials, motor vehicle records (if applicable), and other role- or state-specific requirements.
- This role includes paid training and professional development opportunities, including required ACRE-related training and competency development designed to support success in employment services. Team members are required to successfully complete and pass all required training coursework, assessments, and competency requirements as part of the role within their first year.

Skills Required

- Physically assist, guide, and facilitate client movement and stand or walk for extended periods

- Complete and pass required paid training, ACRE-related coursework, assessments, and competency requirements within first year
- Prior training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or direct service experience
