We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, addressing employee concerns, and helping to resolve conflicts in a fair and transparent manner.

Your expertise will be key in enhancing employee engagement, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and supporting the overall wellbeing of our workforce. You will work closely with management to navigate employee relations matters and contribute to the development of a collaborative environment at iSchool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective support.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, documenting findings, and resulting actions.
  • Advise and guide managers on effective strategies for conflict resolution and employee engagement.
  • Facilitate training sessions on employee relations best practices for staff and management.
  • Utilize data to identify trends in employee relations and recommend improvements to policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring company policies are up to date.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
