The Boeing Company's Production System Training (PST) organization is looking for talented, driven individuals to join our team in Everett, WA as an Employee Development Specialist on 1st OR 2nd shift. This is an exciting opportunity for those with a foundation in training, education, or technical disciplines-such as aviation or electrical assembly -who are committed to safety, precision, and empowering others through world-class instruction. This position supports our internal Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) curriculum which provides wire harnesses, family group assemblies, power panels, and electrical shelf assemblies to Boeing 737, 747, 767 and 777 commercial jetliners as well as our military derivatives P8 and 767 Tanker.
As a PST Instructor, you'll deliver high-quality training that turns technical processes into operational expertise, shaping the next-generation aerospace workforce. You'll also expand your own technical and leadership impact while helping others grow. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior Level specialists to find the best fit for this position.
Position Responsibilities:
- Facilitate learning events and knowledge transfer by teaching and team coaching, observing and tracking student performance, adding key insights to enhance the delivery, conducting preparation, delivering and rostering training to satisfy training requirements
- Conduct training utilizing a variety of delivery methods and techniques, and customize learning programs, courses, presentations and guides as needed
- Emphasize safety precautions to be taken in all training provided
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, and address any problem behaviors in the classroom promptly in accordance with policies
- Perform individual and group assessments, and recommend process and performance improvements
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide training consultation services
- Provide extensive technical assistance in both formal classroom and hands-on training on Manufacturing fabrication, assembly and operations
- Conduct testing and evaluation per procedures
- Evaluate technical aerospace skills training needs
- Develop post evaluation recommendations to determine appropriate training content, objectives and design
- Identify and validate training by observing, measuring, testing, reviewing, and analyzing training to ensure that learning objectives are met effectively
- Understand regulations and standards, ensure delivery of courseware complies with commercial, government, regulatory and organizational standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers (e.g., curriculum developers, instructional systems designers, engineers, programmers, strategic learning advisors, etc.) to develop creative training enhancements, guided skills practices, job aids, capstone projects and activities to assist learners during and after training
- Lead projects designed to produce educational deliverables
- Perform ongoing monitoring of stakeholders operating environment and key business measures and objectives
- Identify potential issues that impact performance
- Coach and develop less experienced instructors
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer Sessions to qualify additional instructors, as required
- Assess requirements and schedule courses and instructors
- Analyze, validate, optimize and coordinate training requests for new hire, recall, and transfer employees
- Support off-shift as necessary
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience with giving presentations and public speaking
- 1+ years of experience using reporting tools
- 3+ years of experience with electrical assembly and/or electronic materials
- 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- 3+ years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience teaching a technical subject matter in an adult learning environment
- Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) process knowledge
- Strong experience with Electrical systems (re: fabrication, installations, testing, troubleshooting)
- Strong experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) and Quality Management System (QMS)
- Experience with operating/navigating: Wireshop Homepage, BAC specifications (D6-36911), Standard Work Instructor (SWI), Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), Redars
- Experience with designing/developing course content and instructional materials
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using My Learning or other Learning Management Systems
- Experience organizing, prioritizing and paying attention to detail while ensuring accuracy

Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $90,050-$123,050
Summary Pay Range for Senior (Level 4): $113,900-$154,100
