As we continue to grow, we are expanding our network of Freelance Talent Acquisition Partners to help us identify and engage top-tier software engineers and technical talent across Latin America.
This is a commission-based independent contractor role — USD 1,000 per successful hire. It’s ideal for experienced recruiters who value autonomy, flexibility, and partnership with a trusted U.S.-based team.
We’re looking for recruiters with an existing network of senior engineers across LATAM and a proven ability to connect high-quality talent efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with Empirical’s internal recruiting team to source, qualify, and refer top candidates for our U.S. startup clients. Typical roles include Backend, Full Stack, Data, and Tech Lead positions.
What You’ll DoSource and engage senior-level engineers and technical talent across LATAM.
Pre-qualify candidates for English fluency, technical alignment, and cultural fit.
Maintain regular communication with the Empirical recruiting team.
Submit vetted candidates using our standardized process and templates.
Track candidate progress and stay aligned with open roles and client priorities.
5+ years in Talent Acquisition, including 3+ years in technical recruitment.
Proven success sourcing LATAM talent for U.S. or global clients.
Established network of senior engineers and technical professionals across LATAM, and the ability to quickly engage new talent through trusted relationships.
Strong understanding of roles like Full Stack, Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and Data Engineering.
Expertise with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, or HireEZ.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
