The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an EMEA Demand Planner-Business Facing Demand Planning you will partner with Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure high-quality demand forecasts that support business decisions across the region.

This highly visible role is ideal for an experienced planning professional who enjoys turning data into insights, collaborating with commercial teams, and driving forecasting excellence in a dynamic international environment.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading demand planning activities for a regional EMEA portfolio, influencing inventory, service, and financial performance
• Partnering with Portfolio Leaders, Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, S&OP Management, and Global Planning teams
• Driving alignment between the Demand Plan and Business Plan, including the Operational Plan (OP), Quarterly Operating Reviews (QOR), and Market Intelligence
• Challenging assumptions and providing data-driven recommendations to business stakeholders
• Providing actionable demand insights to support supply, production, and inventory strategies
• Owning the collection, validation, and integration of Market Intelligence into forecasting processes
• Identifying and managing forecast exceptions, forecast bias, and unusual consumption trends
• Conducting scenario planning and what-if analyses to support strategic business decisions
• Optimizing statistical forecasting models and improving forecast accuracy through advanced analytics
• Leading or participating in regional and global planning transformation initiatives
• Driving continuous improvement projects focused on forecast quality, planning effectiveness, and process standardization
• Ensuring data integrity and governance within planning systems

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• Experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or a related planning role
• Strong understanding of demand planning principles, forecasting methods, and demand drivers
• Advanced knowledge of planning systems such as Kinaxis, SAP APO, SAP IBP, Oracle, or similar
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Experience managing forecast exceptions, performance metrics, and data quality
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, international environment
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• This role has hybrid working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the office.
• Travel - May include up to 10% domestic/international
• Working pattern - full time
