Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced EMC Engineering Delegate (DAD/DAR) to lead certification activities and make compliance findings under delegated authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as DAD/DAR delegate for EMC compliance
  • Review, approve, and sign off certification documentation
  • Lead compliance demonstration activities and test validations
  • Interpret and apply certification regulations (TCCA / FAA / EASA)
  • Interface with regulatory authorities and support certification strategy
  • Approve engineering changes and ensure continued airworthiness
  • Mentor engineering teams on certification requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 8–10+ years of EMC experience in aerospace
  • Must hold or be eligible for DAD/DAR delegation (Transport Canada)
  • Strong experience in certification programs (Part 25 / CAR 525)

Technical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of EMC/EMI, transmission lines, signal integrity
  • Deep understanding of DO-160, SAE ARPs, regulatory frameworks
  • Proven ability to make compliance findings independently
  • Strong communication with regulators and cross-functional teams

 

Location: Mississauga, ON

Term: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: 40 hours per week
