About the role

Bluecurrent is entering a new phase of growth—and we’re looking for a proven commercial leader to take our embedded networks business to the next level.

This is a rare opportunity to own and scale a high-potential segment across Australia and New Zealand, working at the forefront of energy transition, digital metering and distributed energy solutions.

As Embedded Networks Manager, you will have end-to-end accountability for strategy, growth and performance of our embedded networks portfolio.

You will drive commercial outcomes, build market capability, and position Bluecurrent as a market leader in embedded network solutions across electricity, gas and water.

This is a high-impact leadership role with the mandate to grow revenue, strengthen delivery, and shape how embedded networks evolve in a changing energy landscape.

What You’ll Deliver

  • Drive revenue and margin growth through a clear and executable market strategy
  • Build and convert a strong pipeline of embedded network opportunities
  • Strengthen customer relationships and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Improve operational performance across metering, billing and customer services
  • Identify and commercialise new solutions aligned to market demand
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, accountable team

  • Strong experience in embedded networks, utilities, or the broader energy sector
  • Deep understanding of metering, billing and on-selling models
  • Experience with AEMO, AER, NEM or similar regulatory environments
  • Proven ability to drive commercial growth and manage P&L performance
  • Track record of scaling services, improving operations or building new capability
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial negotiation skills
