Requirements
To obtain external expertise and assistance in the form of an embedded consultant to support and develop the clients Sensitive Assert Risk programme. This includes the following:
- Strategic Programme Development: Support efforts to strategically develop a proportionate, sustainable, ethical, and dependable counterespionage programme at the strategic level
- This will include:
- Development of a cross functional governance approach
- Current situation assessment and definition of a future acceptable maturity level
- Implementation of a plan to achieve the set acceptable maturity level
- Development of an inventory of sensitive assets
- Stakeholder guidance: Guide stakeholders in the improvement and further development of ethically-sound countermeasures, such as high-risk role screening for new hires, staff training and awareness programmes.
- Investigations support: Respond to suspected cases by coordinating and managing investigations and stakeholder liaison in a transparent and ethical manner.
- Executive privacy protection assurance: Improve and develop the clients existing capabilities to ensure the privacy of executive meetings and communications in coordination with the Personal Protective Services programme. Government/Law Enforcement liaison: Coordinate the clients liaison with government security agencies relating to economic and industrial espionage cases and best-practices development
The consultant is expected to have 8+ years’ experience in insider risk in the private sector or similar counterintelligence roles in the public sector.
Skills Required
- 8+ years' experience in insider risk in the private sector or similar counterintelligence roles in the public sector
- Experience coordinating and managing insider investigations and stakeholder liaison
- Experience developing insider-risk or counterespionage programmes, governance, and maturity roadmaps
- Experience liaising with government security agencies and law enforcement on economic/industrial espionage
- Experience implementing executive privacy protection measures and coordinating with personal protective services
