- Apply CAD tools to perform product design on schematic and PCB layout.
- Follow design process and procedures to release the product drawing in different project stages.
- Provide support to product manufacturing development as needed.
- Participate in product schematic and layout review for product design verification.
- Other tasks that are required by the supervisor – for example bench testing and circuit analysis.
- Comply with safety-related regulations and rules; Complete all safety training; Participate in and be familiar with the company's emergency process; Achieve the company's safety KPI.
- Analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Proven electronics design experience.
- Strong understanding of low-voltage analogue design, DC-DC power supply design.
- Strong understanding of components: MOSFET, H-Bridge, and IGBT.
- Strong understanding of digital system design, microprocessor interfacing, and signal conditioning.
- Strong understanding of 32/64 bit microcontroller design and communication protocol (CAN, LIN, SPI, UART, I2C).
- Strong understanding of layout design, including power constraints and EMC management.
- Proven experience with laying out mixed signal multilayer PCB’s for high volume production intent applications.
- Experience with effective problem-solving methodologies
- Software tools:
- MS Office.
- eCAD tool set for component library, schematic capture and PCB layout (XPedition Enterprise preferred).
- eCAD Circuit Simulation tools such as HyperLynx and Valor NPI.
- Product Lifecycle Management release tool.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or a suitable equivalent qualification and experience.
- At least 5 years of electronic hardware design working experience, including PCB layout in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of and/or skill in one or more of the following areas:
- Microcontroller application.
- Analogue and digital circuits.
- PCB layout knowledge and low-emission layout experience.
- CAD design and CAE analysis tool application.
- Experience in automotive electronics hardware development is a plus.
