Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA), 787 Wire Design organization has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Wire Design Engineer (Associate or Experienced) in North Charleston, SC. The positions will help us define the future 787 Commercial customer introduction configurations within the wire design team.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Experience in Electrical system architecture design, wiring design, harness design is required.
  • Generate and maintain wire diagrams for released designs.
  • Develop wire design work statements for new design implementation.
  • Utilize process documents, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
  • Individuals should be able to work under general direction of lead Engineer and an expert mentor to enhance both technical learning and career growth.

Work Authorization Statement:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our North Charleston, SC location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 2 or more years' related work experience.
  • 2 or more years' of experience in an engineering role.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5 or more years' related work experience.
  • Experience working with and applying aircraft design requirements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to program tools and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills.

Summary Pay Range:
  • Associate (Level 2): $91,800 - $124,200
  • Experienced (Level 3): $112,200 - $151,800
