During your internship at Reflect Orbital you will be given as much responsibility as our full-time team-members. You work will contribute to directly to the success of our flying constellation.
Ideal candidates for internships will be comfortable facing challenges with no known solution, willing to be hands-on individual contributors, and able to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks in-person at our Hawthorne, CA office. ResponsibilitiesDesign test systems for avionics PCBAs and other components
Write test software for these test systems to enable automated acceptance testing of PCBAs for high production rate, high reliability avionics systems
Design acceptance test protocols and ensure proper test coverage. In short, make sure boards are built correctly before we fly them to space.
Prototype and iterate rapidly
You're capable of incredibly scrappy solutions, but also have experience building & shipping complex and high quality solutions when the problem requires it
Experience writing python, ideally exercising common hardware test peripherals like power supplies, electronic loads, DAQs, etc
A careful eye and dedication to ensuring electronics are tested properly before we send them to space.
You're both capable of working highly independently, but you know when to seek experience
