Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Electrical Technical Designer (Experienced, Lead, or Senior) in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will provide engineering support across the Boeing portfolio of products, to include - but not limited to - Boeing Military Aircraft and Military Derivative Aircraft (AEW&C, AWACS, C-32/C-40, E-4B, VC-25A, KC-767, B-1B, B-2, B-52 and others).

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced, Lead or Senior Level Technical Designers.
This role will be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK
Position Responsibilities:
Level 3:
Develops, maintains and releases electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying company, industry and governmental standards. Using design tools prepares documentation and incorporates design changes. Creates, develops and maintains systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and assisting in identifying design discrepancies. Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities. Develops and maintains product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex. Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers. Works under general direction.
Level 4:
Leads, develops, maintains and releases electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards for multiple customers. Manages, interprets and develops design requirements. Uses design tools to document and maintain configuration design control. Manages, creates, develops and maintains complex systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and integrating systems elements. Validates complex engineering system design and functionality. Leads the process for product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to complex. Coordinates activities and products with cross-functional groups, internal partners and external suppliers. Reviews and assigns work to others. Works under minimal direction.
Level 5:
Serves as the subject matter expert for the development, maintenance and release of electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards for multiple customers. Proposes innovative solutions for emergent technical issues. Uses design tools to document and maintain configuration control of designs. Manages, creates, develops and maintains highly complex or specialized systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and integrating systems elements. Directs validation of complex engineering system design and functionality. Leads the process for product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to complex. Coordinates activities and products with cross-functional groups, internal partners and external suppliers. Reviews and assigns work to others. Works under consultative direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with CAD software (ex. CATIA, Solidworks, etc)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience
• Level 4 (Lead): 8+ years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Level 5 (Senior): 11+ years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with aircraft wire installation
• Experience with CATIA V5 or V6
• Experience CMPro

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Experienced (Level 3): $63,750 - $86,250
Lead (Level 4): $75,650 - $102,350
Senior (Level 5): $90,950 - $123,050
