In the framework of a Photovoltaic plant construction project (125MW), we are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the assembly, installation and execution of the different works on site according to the development of the activities during the execution, and the start-up or commissioning.
- Review of client requirements and client technical specifications.
- Management of subcontracted companies, controlling the daily progress of the work.
- Make personnel and time estimates.
- Interpretation of plans.
Profil
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory: Valid License / Active membership with the CIAPR).
- Demonstrated experience as a Electrical Supervisor in the assembly and construction of large photovoltaic plants projects (+50 Mw).
- Knowledge of trench excavations, cable laying, inverter connection, medium voltage connection and electrical testing.
- Experience working with, supervising, and administering subcontractors.
- Knowledge of state, federal, and local contracting requirements.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and issues.
- Familiarity with photovoltaic and industry quality standards.
- Demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
- Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs which may require extensive walking in and around a construction site, walking on uneven surfaces.
- Must be able to complete and pass a drug screen, physical, and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
- Good knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other common applications used in the construction industry.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Willingness to be located on remote site.
