We are seeking an experienced Electrical Planner to support the successful delivery of a major Data Centre project in Austria.

This role will focus specifically on the electrical scope of the project, including MV/LV distribution systems, cable containment, cable installation, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, commissioning, energisation activities, and integration with wider MEP and CSA delivery teams.

Working closely with construction managers, project directors, package leads, and client stakeholders, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed electrical programmes, monitoring progress, identifying schedule risks, and driving programme performance throughout the construction and commissioning phases of this mission-critical project.

This is a site-based role in Austria, supporting one of Europe's leading Data Centre developments.

Our Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced planner with a strong background in electrical construction and data centre delivery. You understand the complexities of coordinating multiple subcontractors, managing fast-track construction programmes, and driving progress across large-scale mission-critical projects.

You enjoy being embedded within delivery teams, working directly with site managers, supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain accurate programme information and proactively resolve scheduling challenges.

You are analytical, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with the ability to communicate programme performance clearly while supporting project teams in achieving key milestones and commissioning targets.

Experience Required
  • 5+ years of experience in construction planning, project controls, or scheduling.

  • Strong experience supporting the delivery of Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, Energy, or Industrial projects.

  • Proven experience planning electrical installations including MV/LV systems, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, containment, cabling, and commissioning activities.

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.

  • Experience developing and managing detailed construction and commissioning programmes.

  • Strong understanding of critical path analysis, schedule development, progress measurement, and programme optimisation.

  • Experience tracking procurement, manufacturing, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

  • Knowledge of construction sequencing and interface management across MEP, CSA, and commissioning disciplines.

  • Experience producing look-aheads, recovery programmes, earned value reporting, and project performance dashboards.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within multidiscipline project teams in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Previous Data Centre experience is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Power BI, MS Project, or project controls software would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules for the electrical scope of works.

  • Monitor project progress against critical milestones and key programme deliverables.

  • Work closely with electrical construction teams to validate progress and identify potential schedule risks.

  • Coordinate programme activities across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

  • Produce weekly and monthly planning reports for project and client stakeholders.

  • Facilitate programme review meetings and support recovery planning where required.

  • Analyse schedule performance and recommend corrective actions to maintain project milestones.

  • Support commissioning and energisation planning activities in collaboration with project teams.

  • Develop short-term, medium-term, and long-term look-ahead programmes.

  • Perform what-if analysis and schedule risk assessments.

  • Maintain programme compliance with contractual obligations and project objectives.

  • Provide forecasting support for resource planning and project controls initiatives.

  • Conduct regular site walks to validate programme status and ensure accurate reporting.
